Painting in Proctor, with the owner on every job
J.Lynn Painting serves homeowners and businesses in Proctor and the rest of Rutland County. You work directly with the owner, from the first call to the final walkthrough, so the person who quotes your job is the person who paints it.
Vermont weather is hard on paint. Freeze-thaw cycles, snow and summer humidity crack and peel coatings that were not applied over a properly prepared surface, so every job starts with prep: cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching and priming where it is needed.

When to schedule
Interior painting can be done year-round. Exterior painting, staining and power washing are scheduled from late spring through summer. We do not recommend exterior painting in the fall, because temperatures drop quickly heading into winter and paint needs steady warmth to cure. If you reach out in the fall, we will put your project on the schedule for spring.
