This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here.

What information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, most often when you request an estimate, or when you call, text, or email us. This may include:

• Your name and contact details: phone number (including mobile number), email address, and the property address
• Details about your property and the work you need
• The content of calls, text messages, emails, and form submissions you exchange with us
• Limited technical information your browser sends automatically when you visit the site (see "Cookies and tracking" below)

We do not sell your personal information.

How your data is used

• Schedule and carry out work at your property
• Communicate with you about your project by phone call, text message (SMS), or email
• Send project updates such as appointment confirmations and reminders
• Keep records required to operate our business and meet legal obligations

Cookies and tracking

Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential to make features work; for example, an embedded estimate form and its provider (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector) may set cookies so the form can load and work. We may also use privacy-conscious analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how parts of the site work.

How we share information

• With trusted service providers who process information on our behalf and are bound to protect it, such as our customer communication, scheduling, and form software (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector)
• When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

Data retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

Your rights and choices

• Unsubscribe from texts: reply STOP to any message; reply START to opt back in.
• Update your information: tell us and we will correct the details we hold about you.
• Access or delete your information: ask what we hold about you or request deletion, subject to records we are required to keep by law.

Children's privacy

This site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

SMS / Text Messaging and Your Consent

How you opt in. You consent to receive text messages from J.Lynn Painting when you give us your mobile number and ask us to contact you — for example by submitting a request form on this website, by ticking a text-message consent box where one is provided, or by texting us first at our messaging number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

What we send. Messages relate to the service you asked us about: replies to your questions, quotes and estimates, appointment confirmations and reminders, arrival and job-status updates, invoices and receipts, and follow-up about work we have completed for you. If you separately ticked the box consenting to marketing messages, we may also send occasional promotional offers, seasonal reminders, and news about our services. You can opt out of either kind at any time.

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies and depends on your conversation with us. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

How you opt out. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP. We will send one confirmation and then stop texting that number. Reply HELP for help, or use the contact details at the end of this policy. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Mobile Information and Information Sharing

This section applies to the mobile number and text-messaging consent described above.

Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If we make a material change to how we handle your information, we will make that clear on this page.
